Inspired by a collection of Persian poems, The Great Omar is a life size reproduction of a peacock constructed by The Makerie. Constructed for and with papers from the range of Shepherds Bookbinders, the color version of Omar is on display at their Holborn store.

The equally beautiful White Omar was created to explore the intricate patterns and contours, at times hidden, of the original sculpture. While the original Omar is ornate and overwhelmingly gorgeous, the white version is exquisite in its restraint.
