Browsing through my google reader last night, this post at Design Crush caught my eye. I’ve been slacking on posting all my new blog crushes, but I figure now is as good a time as any. So, here you go! Mrs. Lilien is my newest blog crush.
Each post is based on a persona and showcases a collection of items that suit that persona. Most of the personas are titled as “Mrs”; we have Mrs. Mc Nicey, Mrs. Frost {see the collection above}, Mrs. Kitchen, and so on. Pretty cute, no?

Rockin’ the Hairbow
Inspired by the tutorial over here, I decided to try the hairbow for myself. The trick is to make the loops tighter than you think they need to be. I’m experimenting with how to wear it, but I think it suits this bow dress pretty well.

Just saw the most recent cover for Vanity Fair…
… and it reminded me of another favorite hollywood spread for VF: the 2008 hollywood cover with the hitchcock spread inside.
I always look forward to these. The girls look so well styled and timeless. These are the type of covers you look back on years from now and think “iconic.”
