These are so ethereal and haunting. The woman in the photo is the goddess of the moon, Selene. Throughout the series of seven images, she waxes and wanes through the phases of the moon, representing the past and the present.

“Sometimes, there are things in our life that aren’t meant to stay. Sometimes, change may NOT be what we want. Sometimes, change is exactly what we need. And sometimes, saying goodbye is the hardest thing you think you’ll ever have to do, but sometimes, saying hello again is the thing that breaks you down and makes you more vulnerable than you ever thought possible. Sometimes, change is too much to bear, but most of the time, change is the only thing saving your life.”

The images below are from a show called Fuerza Bruta: Look Up. For those who don’t speak spanish, “Fuerza Bruta” translates to “Brute Force.” From what I can tell, the show is based around a variety of different forces colliding and the defiance of some of those forces. It seems that part of the show takes place above the audience. I’m not going to say much else, because I think these images speak for themselves.
If you are in NYC, you might want to look into grabbing tickets.
Wait, what’s this?
Holy Crap, I just lost my mind… the show will be in Miami starting June 9th! Who’s coming with me?

This kid officially gets the Beautiful Soul Award. Seriously. AMAZING.
I hadn’t planned on blogging this weekend, but I saw this article and just had to share. Eleven years old and he’s already…
and now…
He’s taking on the White House by walking from Atlanta to Washington D.C. to raise money and to urge the Obama administration to take more action for homeless children.
You can learn more {and make a donation} at the website for The Little Red Wagon Foundation.
{things to ponder…}
* No excuses. If an eleven year old can do this, you can do something, too!
* What act of kindness can you do, big or small, now?
* If you have kids, are you teaching them to be socially responsible?
